Try Redline synthetic oils.
Been using them for a long time.

I spoke to Torsen and Redline about this. If your going to use Redline get the 75W90NS.

I have three bottles on the shelf but have not put it in yet.

Agreed, I should have said 75W90 for non LSD, 75W90NS for Torsen LSD and we need Greiman to fill us in on the Clutch LSD oil.

Sorry, I'm being thick !

So am I right in saying the factory LSD in mine is the torsion type so the NS is the oil I need ?

Mike, the other not Torsen LSD was only available in 92 and I believe had a different option code. As long as you have the Torsen unit then 75W90NS is the better option according to Redline and Torsen. However 75W90 could be used instead.

My earlier post on this subject is at https://rennlist.com/forums/showthre...hlight=75w90ns

I've done the oil change today and the gearchange is noticebly smoother.

I used a Synth 75w90 to GL5 spec, after many phone calls to oil distributers this is the recommended oil grade for both standard and torsen diffs.

The original Porsche spec is Mobilube PTX, but this is virtually impossible to source locally unless on special order and it would have been a 25L tub so a bit much for what I needed.

Anyway job done and as I say all is fine and dandy.

Mike, I just ordered Redline 75W90 GL5 based for my clutch tyope setup based on Jason at Paragon's recommendation. I will let you know how mine works out.
Regards.
