The lower bumper valance (I believe some call it an engine belly pan?) on my '94 cab is damaged beyond repair. If it is removed will there be any negative effect on engine cooling/ventilation?

Also, there's always a used one of these on Ebay for about $200. Is that a good price?

The belly pan is the same item for our cars and the 944 turbo's and you should be able to find one for $100-150. It helps with airflow more than anything and does protect teh bottom end of the car.
