Default Anyone recognize this water leak?

Hi
94 Coupe, US spec.
It leaks in heavy rain or washing the car right in front of the passenger door. Pretty sure it drips from above.
The battery box is pristine, battery area drain is wide open, and I can feed a weedwhacker string from the sunroof drain
through to the ground easily. Door weatherstrip seems OK.
Either I'm missing something obvious or a drain hose is disconnected somewhere or the leak is referred from another
area across the cowl area.
Any ideas?

dribble
thanks
Jon

Check under the windshield perimeter rubber trim gasket. One of my previous cars must have had an windshield replacement done because the adhesive had developed enough of a gap to let water leak through in situations you described.

My my sunroof will drip even though the drain tubes are good. I haven’t done an exhaustive analysis but I’m chalking it up to some kind of capillary action. Seems to drip near the front corners. In my case the drip hits the seats

Are the front pollen/cabin air filters shot or missing? Could rain water while driving enter from there and down into the footwell? I've seen this happrn on other vehicles.

the door check pin mount or wire loom boot for the door are also possibilities.

Bonjour,

: Surr:
