Smile question on M030 sway bars..

I just replaced the sway bars on my 968 to original 30/19 mm M030 units and yesterday I was out on a spirited drive with the local Porsche crew.. The car feels flatter in the corners, turn in is quicker and the front end grip is also improved which feels great and encourage faster corner entry. It did however also have a slight tendency to oversteer now which it didn't before, but I am not sure if thats because of the increased front end grip or just the way the M030 setup is supposed to be. I have the rear sway bar set in the middle of the 3 mounting holes. So my question is, can I dial out the slight oversteer by changing mounting holes and if so, in which direction.?

My car is a '92 with 80k miles with sunroof delete and 220 diff lock option. Its running 8,5x18" front and 10x18" rears wheels with almost new Michelin PP3 tires. I also has lowered springs with adjustable Koni dampers as well as a front tower strut bar. I would really like to get that completely neutral handling back like it had before, just with the added grip and quicker turn in if its possible..

Thanks - Alex

Thanks for the link Paul..

So if I mount the sway bar in the inner hole to make it stiffer, will that reduce or promote oversteer.?

Sorry my ignorance, but I am a bit of newbie when it comes to car suspension.. I am much better at understanding and setting up motorbike suspension, but not much of that apply to cars.. :-(

I'm no expert but I'm pretty sure softening the rear bar will reduce oversteer. But it's dependent on your entire setup of course.

Jerry is correct. Set the end links to the holes furthest out, the larger lever arm will soften the bars action, reducing oversteer (or increasing understeer if you prefer)

My understanding too is to reduce oversteer you soften the sway bar in the rear. Therefore move to the outer hole.
