Talking Parts available: 27K 968 engine
I have a spare 93' 968 motor complete with harness and DME. I am keeping the 3.0L Crank and Block... everything else is for sale. Anyone interested?

Just my thoughts but wouldnt it be better to keep that low milage engine together and sell it as a whole? Certainly I would pay more for a 27K engine than for parts from a 27k engine.

Keep the engine! Use it as a 3 liter conversion project as time & $ permits.

Yes. 3.0L Turbo.. I am keeping the crank and block only, going the 8V route.. Rest of the parts i.e. 16V head, DME are not needed.

Ok. Here's the deal. I am buying the complete 968 motor for USD 4500 and hope to recoup some $$ by selling the following:

Pistons $450
Rods $400
16V head complete + Cam $ 1400
DME + harness $350

Send me PM if you are interested. I can work cheap 3 day shipping to the US.

Interesting. My motor is being rebuilt to be a 16V Turbo. I will have pistons to sell too, but they have 100K miles. What would be the price I could ask for them? How did you arrive at $450 for your pistons?
