Graham, not a problem happens all the time.
Chris, I am very interested. You can send me an email at r_datta@yahoo.com and I will call you back.
The engine pics will need to be minimized as well so I should have them by the end of the day today.
Trevor, its looking tight for Hershey, lets see what happens.

Iv'e seen Raj's car...and it is so clean, one wonders if he even drives it!

Yet, he does! The interior is pristine, and the engine bay is...

Well, I don't want to steal Raj's thunder...if he posts pictures, you all will need napkins so you can catch the drool!

Jason, after the somewhat flashy look of powdercoated stuff under the hood, I have decided to keep it simple and stock and am going to stock look.
How is your car's progress coming? I found out that I was running a K27/11 on my car which has quite a big hotside and is standard on the C2 turbo. You saw how well the setup works for our cars so you might want to keep that in mind. It is not a direct bolt-on though and requires some modifications to fit.
Thom, don't worry about anything. Its all 968 turbo S related. Post away!

Raj,

Things are moving along...although the cars that are being prepared to run at Sebring have bumped me!

No big deal, since I'm not even thinking of driving my car before Spring.

I'm still waiting to see if I can get Turbo-S vents, scoops, and such, too.

I can't believe what your turbo actually is! I'm am even more surprised at how quick the spool up was when we were in it. He really built a great setup for your car.

How are your projects moving along?

Jason, last time I was at George's place we did some fitment tests for my setup as its all custom. We were a little off on one of the hotside brackets but if you thought I had good spoolup before, wait till you see this new turbo. It has a similar size hotside and the inlet is maybe 1/2 inch bigger in diameter but the turbo is a full ball bearing design. It should spoolup quicker and should easily run 18 psi all day even though normally with a smaller hotside you can have backpressure problems. They definitely knew what they were doing and further research has shown me that a 968 turboRS used a K27/11 as well.
As far as the ducts, drop me an email. I have a little bit more time now and can get it rolling.
Has Rick decided what kind of a turbo you will use? Chritian from here was able to shed some light on my car and that was very helpful. Let me know if I can be of any help.
It will be interesting when we do hp/tq comparisons between our cars.

Hey Raj,

not a chance in HELL that a Conquest/Starion is faster then a 951 in any form....gearing sucks..its only got 135-140HP to the wheels stock, handling sucks compared to my N/A. But you can make it a 13 sec 1/4 mile car for ~450$. any more then that and its $$$$ for multiport injection (they are throttle body injected)

your car could destroy mine. you cuold beat me if you started from 3rd gear!

Raj, great pictures. your car looks awsome. As of now im just going to be using a stock 951 turbo for my cab, because thats what is in my doner 951. If you could give me some more info about your new turbo I would really appreciate it, or are you going to be selling your k27/11. Who put your naca ducts in? That is somthing I want to put in after the conversion is done. Thanks for your help, Tate

Duckman, thank you for your compliments. How is your baby running after the clutchjob?
JM, we have not spoken in sometime. Drop me a line. I have some really good news for you about being able to make 400plus with a 2.5 engine. I am sure you still have my number, if not send me a PM and I will give it to you.

Jim, I sold the K27/11 with the shortblock without even knowing what it was as I already had a new GT30 turbo for the new setup. It runs really well with a 3.0 and also has minimum lag. It does involve some cutting and welding to make it work though. Also, its is oil cooled only. I look forward to your email.
Regards.

Thom, lets just say, it flows enough air to make 550hp. I don't plan on running high boost so I will be in the low 400hp range. It was spec'd out by Chris Cervalli from Technodyne based on his prior experience running the GT25 on a 968 turbo.

Raj, the clutch is great but I wound up having to replace the drive shaft and torque tube as well. Not a good but the result is. It's running like a champ.

I don't remember who mentioned it in this thread but they said yours was the first white car they've liked. I've owned and liked several whites cars. Yours is just the best. I looked again at your pictures. Man, that's sweet.
