Default OEM Speedline offsets?

Hi guys,

I was wondering if anybody knows the offsets on the original Speedlines put on the Turbo S models? I just know the widths were 8 and 10, front - rear respectively (at least I believe they were). Thanks in advance!

Would the above be a good guide to follow for new wheels? My goal is to add "big reds" and other suspension mods.

Yeah, no problems clearing big reds with that.

Yep,

You can even go to 17" and fit Big Reds.

I like the speedline look. I hear Kinesis makes their 18" speedline look using 17" centers that have some problems clearing big reds. True?

There shouldn't be any problems clearing the Big Reds using 17" wheels...I have 17" rims and Big Reds on my 928S4 (albeit they are Fikse's - but I ran 993 Cup wheels before again) with no issues.

The Kinesis Supercups I bought from Wheel Enhancement needed to be made with extra offset to clear Big Reds. I don't know how much they added, you could call WE or Kinesis to find out. With my lowered front H&R springs I get a touch of rubbing over hard bumps, but I'm have the fenders rolled to take care of this.

Guys,

I would like 18's on my Tip Coupe but have read in previous threads that the ride was a bit harsh. Think the thread was about the 6 speed though.

If anyone has put 18's on their Tip could they let me know what boot sizes they used to keep the rolling radius as close to original as possible. Because of the cost involved I don't want to splash out on 18's only to realise I should have bought 17's instead
