Ludwig Heimrath's winning 968 is now available
To all,
I was browsing the PCA classifieds and came upom this.
"Own a piece of Porsche history!Ludwig Heimrath's winning 968 is now available. New engine with many trick(and secret) parts.Everything has been freshened, with new paint too. Turnkey, and ready to race in 2004.Turns 1:32 at Mosport."
$43,500U.S.
Year: 1993
Model: 968
Miles: 22,000KM
Body Type: Coupe
Color (Exterior): YELLOW
Color (Interior): BLACK
If I had the funds this would probably be my choice for a turbocharged 968.

Ricardo, even though I agree with you as I own a Heimrath special, there is nothing that denotes it to be a turbo. It could very well be a NA that has had extensive mods done to it to make it track worthy.
If that is the case, that is a very expensive NA but if its a turbo, the price seems right considering I know how they do it. They do a marvelous job and leave nothing unturned.
I love the color combo and want to build either a silver or a speed yellow turbo coupe one day. Maybe in another 2-3 yrs, I will have the funds to find a good donor car.

Raj,
You are right about the fact that they didn't mention the word TURBO.
I think that whoever is in the market for a 968 Turbo should check the details with the seller, since we all know the quality of Ludwig's 968 Turbos

Hahaha, not sure we all know, lol.
I think it was one of the smartest moves I made. Did not know at the time, but now when I look back at how much it cost me. I have spent a bit of money on top after that but can't complain. The car ran as it was. I just want it a certain way.
Interestingly, the car is sitting in the same parking garage my car sat in. They have some very exotic cars in that lot.
