FINALLY got it back from service - two weeks
So, today I finally got my 968 back from the WP/Belts service after two weeks. All seals, belts, cam chain tensioner pads, etc.
Much quieter now, and doesn't spray coolant everywhere.
$3850.
They notes an air bag fault code 23 which, according to the tech bulletin they printed out, is for "ignition pill circuit 3 - resistance too low/high
But my service guy was unable to determine what what it meant or what was causing it.
Does anyone have any information fault code 23?
Could this be the reading my center "!" light in lit in the gauge cluster?

If your airbag light is on then your center ! will be on.
If it were mine then I would try clearing the fault and see if the light comes back on.
If it does then I would unhook the battery, wait about 30 minutes, unplug the passenger airbag and put a 3.3 ohm resistor across the plug. Hook the battery up, turn the ignition on and clear the code and see if the light comes back on. If it does then I would repeat for the drivers side.
If this does not work then I would try to test the sensors or plug in a good used airbag control unit and see what happens.
