Default Hey Damian?

Feeling a bit toasty? Sheesh... I admire your patience.

Thats why this is my home...

Thanks, John D!

I agree, I don't miss the place at all. Surprised you posted. Funny thing is that they make fun of this site to be all about flames and how harmonious the other one is, seems the tables have turned. I guess it was bound to happen. Glad I am out of there.

Call me petty... I couldn't resist. lol

In retrospect, tho, I sorta regret posting what I did here. I don't want it to be disrespectful to the larger group of people (as opposed to the smaller group of morons that I have no patience for) there that I am happy to call my friends... 968.net is NOT a place where I want to spend my time, but that doens't mean I wish them ill will.

I do get annoyed when I see a good guy like Damian getting roasted for no reason, tho.

Regards,

Couldn't let this one go, alas. I really tried to not post, but no one stepped up!

Thanks guys for your comments-and Bruckner cross posted this thread into that one, so everyone can read this. Bruckner, you gave away our hiding spot!

I agree Scott, I made a lot of friends there as well and I keep up with most of them. Its a shame what has happened but what can you do. I usually post directly if I see something wrong.
There was a point when it was a very important part of my life but I have gotten used to not posting there.
Oh well, life goes on for both sides.

..oops, sorry, trust me I had the best of intentions! I think this may have helped to kill the thread.

Damian,

Eventhough I'm not a big poster I have been arround 968.net since the beguining. Recently I feel that the quality of posts don't seem to interest me as it used to. It's kind of hard to describe but, I feel that topics are getting recycled and the level of feedback from users is not really adding that much value for my particular 968 on line experience.

I'm very greatfull that the there is a 968 forum and the archives are an irreplaceble tool. I have decided that my 968 experience should focus more on spending time with nearby owners such as yourself, Raj, Jim and Clem on drives and such. I know I can't drive the 968 all the time but the joy of driving it along with other porsches, to me, is better than looking at mosts of the current posts @ 968.net. It's hard to believe but I never thought I get disinterested of reading the posts.

So to all you NJ/NY/CT owners lets meet and drive more.

Ricardo.
