My first plan of attack my intermediate working CCU,
1 check all the fuses 1, 17, 28 and 36. 2 lift the fuse box and check for any lose wires, 3 clean the the connection from the ground strap to the chassis, 4 clean the ground connections to the chassis behind the fuel gauge, 5 check for a strong ground on pin K 1. 6 check for continuity. between pin K 1 and G18 on the CCU, 7 check for 12V on pins K2, G17, G29, G35,
I don't plan on checking the oil cooler sensor or the evaporator sensor or the AC FAN sensor because they all work when I have power to the CCU, which is 75% of the time. because of that I'm assuming it's not my relays. I also jumped the the relays and the fans on the AC and Oil cooler come on only when there is power to the CCU, but when there is no power to the CCU jumping does no good.
If I don't have a strong ground, I'm thinking of running a wire from the battery to the chassis ground connection behind the fuel gauge, I'm assuming that the CCU harness gets it's ground from there, If any one has experienced this before, please chime in
At a glance the pins on the harness look fine as does the wiring, Let the fun begin

wow, how cool is this. Big Kudos heliolps2 for having the cajones & the motivation to take this project on,... and IMO improve this car immensely from a 3.6 NA car, back to its roots with this motor.
Sure I love NA engines too,... but this car really deserved to have a 3.3 turbo back in it.
How is your brother feeling about all this progression? Is he behind the wheel of your swapped Cab & not looking back? Hope so. But also hope he is appreciative of all your hard work to get it back to this point.
Btw, how long has this car been in your family?
We are not that far from each other (my company office is in Herndon),... maybe someday we will attend the same Porsche event & can meet & check out each others rides. The Annapolis Porsche Dealership is hosting a dual car & bike show with their next door neighbor Harley Davidson on Saturday and I'm a Concours Judge for the car side. That will be directly after the morning session of autocrossing my Cayenne Turbo in our BWI Airport monthly event. Should be a fun Saturday!

Do you ever go to Cars & Coffee at Katies Cafe in Great Falls, Saturday mornings ?

Do you ever attend the PCA Potomac Region Autocross at the BaySox Stadium in Bowie MD (intersection of Rt301 & Rt50)? .... Ahh, but even if we did meet up there, I'd probably run my 958CTT, and leave the 964T in the garage.
... maybe at a larger event someday. Wife & I are indeed bringing the 964 down to Asheville, NC for the Treffen in mid September. Can't wait to drive the Tail of the Dragon & Devils Fork Gap.

Cool. Yea I saw these pics over on the AFR discussion too. Cool ride. Was it a local conversion and who did it? (granted it was probably 26+ yrs ago right?)
When you get the 964T running the way you want it,.. we'll have to meet up at the Bay Sox AutoX. I've never been to that one, but since it's on Sunday's and our Chesapeake autox is on Saturdays, I could do BOTH! (but of course I run my Cayenne Turbo. The 964T is too much to handle on such a small tight course,... for me anyway).
