Sorry, I didn't read the whole thread, I see you are installing them manual by design.

I thought about piggy backing the flap servos to the lower 993 flaps, That would mean two more servos to go bad.. lol and trouble shoot. The manual way seemed to be a lot easier sense I will only switch it once a year. When the summer gets here I will see if my theory works.

Changing to a 993 suitcase and harness and CCU should be straight forward, I believe you need a vacuum line to run some of the servos. Something the 964/965 doesn't have in the HVAC.

You have really done a nice job with this 965! Well done!!!
Inspiration for my unnecessary madness; I now have the chassis in my '94 - everything under the body 100% off the car and disassembled: engine/trans/diff/suspension/oil lines/brakes/etc. I desperately want to get it back together to enjoy this summer.

And these are great indoor covers! Agree! My favorite car is not a Porsche!

Hello Turbo air-cooled friends, Here's an update on my AC hack. It's been pretty hot here in DC, 93deg the last couple of days. Here are some pics of my temps in my 2020 VW and in my 1992 964 Turbo with the Hack and 134a update. I'm very pleased with the outcome. I hope this helps you stay Air-Cooled....

Hello Porsche friends,

I just wanted to update my progress of my 965 and things I completed for 2023.
1 Replaced the front rotors
2 Replaced clutch slave hose
3 Flushed the brake, clutch fluid and accumulator
4 Installed a new Porsche front windshield and seal.
5 Changed trans fluid mobile 1, 70/90 gear oil with additive , after a short while the LSD started to make noises. I went back to Driven LSD gear oil, No more noise
6 Replaced coil with a Porsche part, Because it fried my EZ 69 unit, I think. Thank God I had a spare. I'm looking for another EZ 69 01 or 02 spare.
7 Oil and filter change with Driven 15w 50
Now I have sticking clutch pedal that needs addressing. Its hanging up about 10mm or so. I think I can make some adjustments but just in case I bought a complete rare 965 NOS pedal assembly from Germany.

FRIED EZ69! Everyone replace their coils and add a grounding wire...

Sure the clutch pedal mech is sticking? Replace the slave cylinder while doing the hose? They go bad just from time, greatly improves the clutch smoothness to replace.

Hey everyone, it’s been a while! I’ve been busy working on my 944 Turbo lately and wanted to share my latest upgrade. I got a pair of sport seats and had Larts recover them. They were initially for the 944 Turbo, but I decided to install them in my 965 instead. Now, my 944 Turbo has my old sport seats in it. One thing I noticed is that the old seats feel nice and comfortable, all broken in, while the new ones feel firmer. I guess that’s how they felt when the 965 was new! The new leather smells amazing.

Thank you Luis, Great work
