Guys,

I just wanted to share some news from one of our Porsche friends in Europe. You know who you are and if you want to identify yourself please do.

"PS : btw... totally unexpected but I got an invitation from french Porsche importer at the occasion of Le Mans Classic... The Porsche

Museum Stuttgart will bring some special cars to Le Mans to celebrate the 40 years of the Porsche Turbo. My car being a significant car

of the make ( this, I do not say myself but Porsche France !) they have invited me to do some celebration laps of the Le Mans race track

behind the Porsche Museum cars that will take place on July 5TH ( Saturday ). One or two laps of the race track at ( very ) moderate

speed as a kind of "public relation" action by Porsche Stuttgart to show the different type of Turbo cars they did... Can you imagine where

your wheels will be Jim !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so excited to hear this good news.

Whoever among us that gets to go to this event please share pictures.

I have one additional post to note. I am scheduled for two knee replacement surgeries this year and the first is July 16th so please wish me a speedy recovery.

Congratulations Jim! Good luck with the knees and I hope they are as finely polished as your wheels when they're inserted!

Good luck, Jim.
The first few weeks will be tough but you will be glad you did it two months post-surgery.

When I had my hip replaced it was 3 weeks before I was back on the planet. By week 8 it was like being retired at full pay

Surgery was 1 week ago. It turns out the surgery was the easy part, it was getting my bladder and bowls to come back to life after a spinal block that has been the biggest and hardest part so far. If you can not get these simple functions back to normal they in turn start to consume your life. If only I had understood my body better and known these were the real issues for me, I would have eaten less, eaten healthier, eaten easier to digest foods. Now the good news - I am back to normal.

Thank you all for your support. jdorociak@gmail.com jim
