Well - my intercooler was looking increasingly tatty. So I had it out and resprayed it. Reckon it looks a great deal better now, but it is still let down by the chipped and scruffy sticker - see attached photos.

I was wondering if it would be possible to get a replacement sticker from somewhere or would it be best in the end to just remove it and respray the front side?

I believe flachbau posted a thread on where to get this. The factory superseded the foil sticker with a yellow paper one.

Is that a 3.6 item only? I never had one on my 91

All intercoolers had them when new from the factory. IF the intercooler was replaced with a new one the new intercooler did not come with a sticker. Many have fallen off along the way.

Are you sure of this? I judge a lot of turbos over the years at Conncours events and I have never seen one on a 3.3 964Tand these cars supposedly were all original. I do know the gold foil sticker was superseded sometime in 1995 with a yellow paper sticker used on the 993TT. The Original owner of the car had purchased a replacement for some reason and that is what he received I will look for it I believe it has the dated receipt from Porsche attached.

Tough audience .. I guess I should have said all cars with intercoolers had a some sort of electrical shock caution sticker. Not necessarily on the front of the intercooler and not necessarily the sticker we are talking about here. So 911 3.3 had it on the air filter connector tube. The 964 3.3 had the 'charge level' sticker on the front of the intercooler - not this sticker. This one was 3.6 Turbo and 993 Turbo.
