I would stick with Delvac, it's the recommended fluid for the diff and provides good transmission shift action when cold and warmed up. IMO the perception that the fluid doesn't have enough slip agents and/or the rear diff is clunking/shuddering is purely due to the fact that it has a super aggressive lockup setting under decel. What Porsche was trying to achieve with this setting is debatable, I suspect it was to quell lift off oversteer and induce stability under braking.
^The saga goes on... But if someone has a nice (w/pedigree) 964 Turbo please ping me...does not need to be a '94, but I can swing for one...non red please, and hopefully non black preferred but I can handle a nice black one as well...white/silver +++
I don't know how the attach the link, but there is one on eBay right now in Florida...eBay item#:221299239960

any thoughts?: **TIA**
I'm glad you asked about this one. I've tried to track all the 964 Turbos for sale over the past year and this stood out to me as a good price. Not having seen it in person, the only thing I see that might detract is the interior color (I don't mind it, but I could see how a buyer might not prefer it). Also, can anyone comment on where A/C condensation collects (there's a small puddle under the car in one of the photos)?
I'd ask for a copy of the service receipts, get the Autocheck and arrange a PPI.
Good Luck!
Edit: looks like some deformation in the front bumper...I'll defer to the experts on that.
