Some of you have seen my site. But there is so much confusion that is cleared up by reviewing my site.

So here it is again www.flachbau.com

They just have to be the nicest looking Turbos Porsche ever made. RPM Sports Cars has two of them in stock. I go by there once a month just to admire them.

Lots of great views at the website: RPM

Thanks for a very informative web site.

Dear Mark,
I tried to access your site but was not able to.
However, I am short photos of a genuine 964 Turbo 3.6 S Flat Nose for my book. Would you be prepared to provide a couple of good photos, external 3/4 shots are best, one from the front the other from the rear of your puppy and the details of your Turbo. VIN etc.
You can email me the details for the Turbo but I need the real photos or jpeg printed on photo paper.
If you can help please post the photos to

PS: I have contacted the guy at Porsche you gay the name of. I was passed onto somebody else and I was told they are participating in the writing of a book on the Turbo S.

Adrian,

I would be happy to provide you with photos etc. It may take me a few weeks to get the stuff together but I will send it.

Are you saying that Porsche is partcipating in writing of a book on the Turbo S (not your book but another book)?

Adrian,

Also if you get any additional information on the car let me know as I'm always looking for more information and confirmation of the information I already have.

Also my site works so I'm not sure why you couldn't get there?

Thanks,
Mark

Dear Mark,
I look forward to receiving your photos. I really need them fairly quickly. The graphics design is underway and a photo for the front cover is important. Maybe you could email me a couple and I can insert them into the design whilst waiting for the real ones.
Hr Parr and co are "participating" in the writing of a book on the Turbo S. This is all I was told. Nothing to do with my book though.
I also wonder if you could email the VIN of your Turbo 3.6 S. Not for publication but to confirm where it fits into the overall production data I have,
Ciao,
Adrian

Dear Mark,
I got the slides. I have had them developed into prints. Just finished scanning them. Very nice looking machine.
Thank you very much for your efforts,
Ciao,

Dear Mark,
You get lead photo in chapter 7. Your Turbos rear end gets a viewing in acknowledgements and you get a photo in Chapter 1. Yeah. they are pretty good,

Mark,
I drive a 930 Ruf BTR and I love my car but nothing beats an original 964 turbo S. It's just a collectors car and lucky of you to own one. Great website.

boring photo topic, but you mentioned developing the trannies into prints & then scanning them. Image quality will be MUCH better by scanning the negs with a reasonable neg scanner - trannies have significantly better dynamic range than prints & the end result (especially if they are being enlarged & printed in a book)will be much better.
