das76 and spartansix, thank you!! I will order a two Part #: 928-116-145-03-M100 and get both ends replaced!

might be worth ordering a spare incase one snaps or something

grease them up before installing.

Just did this on a 993TT yesterday.

I would suggest using C-Clamp to slowly and in a controlled way clamp down the ball-end into the new cup. There is plenty of room, right in front of you, nice and easy. And as Cobalt said grease it well.
Very noticeable improvement in the quality of the lever movement.
