If anyone owns or knows of a proper Leichtbau that could be for sale, location not an issue, please contact me privately at michaelkelter1@mac.com. I prefer a very low mileage, original car and will pay accordingly. I am a serious private collector with the ability to complete a purchase immediately.

My thanks,

Michael

Nice,

Norbert, If anyone would know it would be you. I see about half the pictures of 92 turbo S's have the front splitters and others do not. It would appear these were not supplied as standard like on the 94 turbo S or the 3.8RS/RSR. Do you know if these were an option or just added later?

Looks 99.9% the same.

I don't know why Flachbau's or X88's have Turbo 3.6 badging whilst they are clearly "Turbo S" based on 3.6 platform.

I have owned my 964 Turbo for 11 years, and never heard of a lightweight.

On the badge - I was looking for a spare set for my Leichtbau a few years ago and could not find any that was a perfect replacement for the OEM badge on the car. I am not sure 100%, but those look to be 993 Turbo S badges - which could be the same as those for the later 964 Turbo S. The one on the Leichtbau are more black compared to the 993 Turbo S badge which has a titanium hue, and the edges of the "S" are more tapered to a point on the Leichtbau. Small differences, and it may be specific to the extra set I had, but I remember comparing the two sets on hand.

That yellow Leichtbau is beautiful.

If I'm not mistaken, the lightweight Turbo S had a 930 style turbo badge in black with the "S" added on the end. The script for the Turbo 3.6/S is completely different.

Not sure if these pictures help but it would appear to have been issued in both black and silver. Just like the turbo 3.6 badge. Although I have the part number I have yet to see the turbo 3.6 badge in black on a car yet.

Ive seen a Turbo 3.6 badge in black, but the owner is a local poser with an amethyst 964 T that has speed lines and a black turbo 3.6 badge on it.
