One of those other small holes may be threaded which allows you to screw a bolt in to break it loose from the hub once it rusts together. Look and see if indeed it is a threaded hole, and if it is I would rethink your drilling that hole out. Jim

Yea those are the threaded holes, but i use a little copper paste on the hub so it wont rust to it and i also have a puller so i dont need those holes.

Ugghhh dont tell me that Vince!!!! Ok.... i studied them for a while and the original rotor if you can imagine it in the above picture had the cooling vanes angle back to the left in respect to the picture. So i assumed that the cooling vanes should be the same on the new rotor....angled to the left or back towards the rear of the car. Did i screw up?

Yes the new vents are directional as well.

go back and check your part #'s, the website shows right and left....your first pic is for the left side....sorry....the slot should pull the brake gases up and out away from the rotor.....

I thought they had labeled them wrong with the magic marker. So what are you saying about the slots??? Is my configuration correct or no?? I am assuming the most important thing is that the cooling vanes are in the correct direction, thats why i think they labeled the discs wrong.

would need to see the direction of the cooling veins, are they the same direction as the slots, the picture of the rotor mounted with the caliper shows to be wrong, that rotor should be the left one....have to watch that the rotors may be made wrong, they are pretty cheap in price....

No the cooling veins go in the opposite direction from the slots in the photo. I think they may have drilled these the wrong way, go figure.

you can compare the cooling veins to the front rotors, sounds like the cross drilling and sloting is opposite of what it should be....if it is street driven, you should be ok....on the track, would not be as good as it should be....just did a set on a narrow body 964 with a twin turbo motor and custom brakes...slotted rotors with directional cooling veins and euro big red on the rear, with cooling ducts
