most aggressive wheel width/offset?

Here is a picture of an RSR rear 11" Speedline wheel. It is a 4.75" deep outer lip, uses a center lock and the rear centers are machined differently than the standard 10 ET 61 Speedline wheel. This is very aggressive and again uses the NA trailing arms.
Also please remember while most all the 965 owners really drive their cars, very few are willing to roll the fender lips and other extreme measures to go beyond what is being discussed. Respectfully - Jim

The NA trailing arms look like tooth picks next to the turbo arms. The other issue is the drive axle length changes. The axles are not strengthened as they are on the turbo models (I am running upwards of 700 HP on high boost). Plus other structural reinforments are needed. The US version of the 964T(3.6) used 1992 trailing arms. The ROW version used the Carrera RS system. One more thing, the NA trailing arm brake rotors are not the same as the turbo trailing arm rotors (different hubs) as well as the sway bar is different. The NA trailing arm rotor thickness is 24mm vs the turbos 28mm so you will also need the RS claiper to be safe. Handbrake cable is shorter as well. See why it gets expensive to do it right.

So then, do we all agree that perhaps the widest wheel with stock trailing arms would be ~10.5" with an ET of ~56 to maintain the same inner clearance, while moving the outside of the wheel 11mm closer to the fender?

Actually, here is what I think would be widest for a 965 with turbo trailing arms. 8.25" inner and 2.25" outer making a 10.75" rear wheel there is also a .25" crush ring in the assembly getting to a 10.75". Factory size was 61 ET 10 was built using 8" inner .25" crush, and 1.75" outer rim. Jim

As I calculate ET 58 - 56 depending, give or take. going out one direction an extra 1/2" but then going inward the opposite direction 1/4". Jim jdorociak@gmail.com

I'm running an 11 inch HRE with 285/30 18's on the rear. Previously I had Bridgestone S0-2 without any rubbing issues, but recently swtiched to the same size in Michelins, and they tires are noticeable wider.
I can't lower the car too much more i WILL have rubbing issues. I don't actually like the wheels, but they are what came on the car when I bought it a few years ago.

I would go back to my original statement. 8.25" inner rim which is .25" deeper than original. 2.25" outter rim which is .5" deeper than original making a Speedline 10.75" wheel, or a 10.5" if you only change the outer rim. Jim
