Default Highly recommended mechanic in South Florida - John @ JCM Performance

I've scoped all Porsche mechanics in South Florida and John is highly recommended @ JCM Performance...I've been using his shop for years..Plenty of Lambos and Ferraris in there as well. He is an ex mechanic for Alex job racing.

Good to know....thanks.

Is your recommendation based on your personal service experience or a connection with the owner?

Thanks again.

You could try Prototech in Ft.Lauderdale, David Hart is the owner. He built a 742 HP ,TT, for my NA 1991 911/C4, Carrera and it has been perfect! Been on the road for 3 years. TJN

My car is down at Billet with Wayne doing some more tuning on her. I don't just anybody up in the Tampa area for ECU tuning. Funny how allot of these guys work out of the same shop. www.tpgproducts.com

I hear DTA has weak support and the units have insufficient spark amplification?....I plan to do Haltech tuning/EFI conversion by Eddie B. with increased boost and a modified 3.2 intake... 580+whp range..

I have bought many parts from them happily but had an awful experience when it comes to their tech touching my car, would not recommend them for service, in your part of the south florida go to vinnie at gulf performance

Can anyone comment on Vertex regarding service, not just part sourcing? Based on the experience of someone I know, I strongly believe he is being taken advantage of.

I would use Mike at JB racing for motor work. He is top notch in every single aspect. I did not have good luck with the motor Bellos built me at all.
