I didn't see them pull away from me above 120 in fact I was gaining on them so long as I was on boost although handling is an issue but with some tweaks these cars can hold there own. There were no issues through some of the twisty roads if anything they seemed to back off a little. Most of them were straight line speed junkies although they had all this equipment.
I would say in the right hands these cars can do better but with the small mods i have a 6.9:1 pound to hp ratio and higher torque my car moves quite nicely even off the line now that I eliminated the cat. Where I would fall short is probably speeds above 150 when the rear flairs drag these cars down.

Hi Anthony,
I hear you, however I am talking about my experience on an airfield track with quite extreme speed, not on the road where none of these cars should push it.
It was noticeable that when we were at high speed say 160mph plus, and had to brake and turn sharp (due to running out of straight track!) I would have to use the run-off while braking very hard, whereas 996turbos, GT3's etc would simply turn off....
Or possibly, my ***** were simply not quite big enough...

Never had the opportunity to drive on an airfield like that so I have to rely on your experience although I have been on some road courses in my C2 and found their times to be not much better than mine. I also found my C2 to brake as well with big reds although I will agree you reach a point where the Gt3's 996TT's and these cars will have better turn in as I have to 4 wheel drift through the same turns to keep up.
Although i don't track my turbo because I could never risk damaging it I feel the handling at higher speeds is superior to that of my C2 with similar suspension upgrades. i would be curious to know how they actually compare at speed on a road course but IMO it would be closer than you would think.

No worries, any bump on my tread is good for me.

) I've had one party take a look but nothing solid. One guy emailed me the KBB which had the 3.6 Turbo in excellent condition for $29k and offered $25K due to the economy, LOL. KBB is worse than Bruce Anderson's assessment on our cars. Anyway, time is on my side.
