popped turbo hoses?
So on a earlier thread I mentioned my car was running rich, apparantly my boost hoses were popping off after i installed the b&b headers and exhaust. tricking the car to think it was boosting therefore dumping massive fuel to compensate for the non existent boost. I have since reclamped the hose 3 times and it keeps popping off. The hose im talking about is the one from the turbo to the intercooler. Has this happened to anyone before? Could it be due to a stuck waste gate building pressure and popping the hose off? Its SUCH A PAIN in the @$$. Anybody sell High pressure hoses with stronger clamps?

I'd definitely check the wastegate function. Overboosting can be very bad.
The car already has a diverter valve (BOV that does not vent to atmosphere). Check to ensure proper operation.
There are other clamps/hoses but unless you are running huge boost, I don't think you need anything special.

yea it has to be either the wastegate or bad hoses....since the car IS 20 years old and the header job recently did require us to take off and put on the hoses multiple times ...maybe the hose is softening up....hopefully all i need is a new hose...wastegates can get expensive

Wait to you see the price of a new hose. Did you see that everything was installed right. I have seen people push the hose all the way down around the turbo and have just enough hose to go around the intercooler. Also make sure the hose is dry from oil.

this hose currently costs 259,02€ over here, part number is 930 110 368 00.
Not much cheaper than a wastegate...
I hope you can fix the problem and make sure the hose is bonedry inside where it meets the turbo.

just installed a new turbo (7006) and went through this hosejob.
Cleaned it properly inside and out and used a new clamp, wasnt a big problem just a little bit hard to tighten it all up, especially the connection to the turbo is tricky. I used a flexible screwdriver.

just came across this old thread...for the record it was the hose that was the culprit to all of my problems. We put in the new OEM hose and it fixed EVERYTHING...car is running excellent. Thanks for all the help guys especially you Staffan =)
