That is one heck of a list. Have you thought about replacing the wheel bearings while you are in there?

Forgot to ask.
Who can give me the correct part reference number for a Turbo 3.6 brake line set from Goodridge?

Thx,

Geert

An update:

-Completely dismantled every single part down to the front bearing and ABS
sensor - every things is down to singles pieces.

Remarks:

- M12 instead of M14 bolts were used to hold the shock to the lower carrier mounting position - guess where I lost some adjustment between L/R?
- right bearing small grinding noise
- no run out on rotors or hub to be checked after re-assembly
- protective plates rotors need to be replaced
- rotors show some rust, mainly back side
- taking out the bushings A-fram is stuff but do-able
- new parts are coming in

Questions:

- any advise for cleaning up the rotors
- any advise on how to check the top mounts for wear and tear?

Till the next update

Geert

if the rotors are badly rusted in the inside you could have them skimmed but there is a minimum thickness tolerance which your not advised to go below so metal to be removed should be kept to a minimum, unless there are not that bad and can be emery etc
I would run a drill through all the rotor holes to clean them out to reduce scoring aswell

Had my first drive after the overhaul:

- new steering rack is awesome and realy feels different to the old one
- very direct steering, it feels like all play in the steering has gone, was expected with all part replaced
- did a brake pad break in procedure, runnig new FVD Trickstuff pads
- very solid, but pleasant Bilstein suspension
- do have brake pressure loss after pumping the brake pedal shortly 6 to 7 times, warning light comes on and goes out after pressurizing
