The tires are definitely available in 225, which I believe are the OEM size. 235 I am not certain, but the rear tire size definitely available. I have started changing out most of my cars to these tires as the need arises and subject to availability - the dry performance + wet grip are a close to a perfect compromise for me.

They appear to make them in both a 225 and 235 size for our cars but only a 265 for the rears. I have been running 295 PS2's. Price is considerably less than the PS2 currently.

Car popped up for sale ( Japan ) last week but sold within a couple of days. Could unfortunately neither get VIN nor price.
Interesting to note : Power windows, which I never seen on any Leichtbau... I'm pretty sure it is a mod done afterwards ( addition of the roll cage)

Beautiful car.
I was in Tokyo just 3 weeks ago, visited some of the rare-model dealers, they tell me they are being swamped by buyers for Europe. More than likely this car will be on a boat soon, heading for Germany.
My Japanese friends are complaining that European buyers have now raised air-cooled prices there to the point where they are not affordable for most of the locals....

30 CSL, I will try to get the VIN for the Register, although the Japanese (and Japanese privacy laws) are guarded about this sometimes, especially prior owner information which is particularly difficult to obtain. I am also curious about purchase price. Will revert back.

Mean Machine - the basic steering wheel is still widely available and was a Porsche option of that time (Momo Sport Wheel ?), but the specific variations are more difficult to come by. The tri-tone model with "Turbo S" in the centre and "Porsche" on the rim is standard for the non-airbag Turbo S Leichtbau, and a similar one for 964 RS models (I do not know if the RS model had "Porsche") - of course more difficult to find these days.
