ITS ALIVE!!!!!!! Congrats!! It is good to see after all the time the vehicle is everything you IMAGINED (ha,ha). So here are my questions.

1) Where are the bearing cooling lines run? I don't see them in the pictures just a drain back into valve cover.

2)Why not a Carrera manifold?

3)Why did you stop at 1 bar of boost? The GT35R just starts going at 1 bar. I remeber you telling me you have internals done.

4)What cam profile are you running?

Looks awesome, I hope when you are in NJ next time you stop by and take mine for a ride. I would love you to compare the builds.

Regards,

Craig

The oil lines are running to the normal positions on the turbo and at the feed line y-ed to the coolant jacket. The picture with the valve cover is the secondary return with the restriction.

Originally when we start this project it was going to be a bolt on kit. Well it sort of ended up not being that at all. In the end it we were pleased with numbers we were seeing on the stock intake. I think if we switched it we might be able to pull a little more TQ but overall I am pleased.

Because Phil is going to track the snot out of the car. We are not running sealing rings and the orginal request was to make 100 more HP than he had. So we would had made that at 480RWHP. I have suggested Phil stay here. It will be plenty fast on the track and be safe.

It is a version of the GT2 profile.

Thanks Craig. I don't know if I would say brillant, but at least it came out like we had hoped!

This is torture; why post pictures of a project like this?

Phil, I am so happy for you. Maybe we can meet at VIR for a DE and I can try and keep up with that beast!!!

The job looks very nicely done. What a/r are you running on the exhaust housing? 1.06???

I have a new GT35R (1.06 a/r) in its box down in the garage waiting to go on the side of my RB30DET to go in my old 240z track car. But after seeing your conversion i might keep the GT35r for the 965 and get the slighter bigger T04Z for the datto.

I cant imagine what what the 3.6 would feel like with 500+ WHP.....

Congrats finally!...when will you be driving the car to provide feedback?

On another note check out this EFI tuner Essa Tech..I have also seen other 964's he produced in this HP range.

1.93 BAR Weld those heads on baby!!!!

That is a bit more radical than a GT35R and EFI on a 3.3L 965 motor.

Cool build. I am currently putting together a 4.0L 996TT engine with twin GT35R at Protosport. 1000HP here I come!!!!!
