Track prep items?
I'm going to a PBOC event at Barber next weekend. I'm wondering what advice you guys would have regarding items I should have checked prior to going - and possible items that could suffer/fail during track use that wouldn't under normal daily driving.
Some more info on the car - It has a little over 34K mi. It has had the full 30K service. Pads and rotors are 3mo old. Brand new PilotSport2s. Suspension components are 6mo old. I'm having some belts replaced this weekend.
What else should I be covering?
I look forward to your thoughts.

Go with the better brake fluid---try ATE Super Blue (decent fluid) or go with the much better Motul (I run this in my Cup Car). You probably don't need to go with the top of the line Castrol SRF---yet.
BTW, what is your track level experience? What run group will you be driving in? Depending on the temperature, also watch your tire pressure---ask an instructor what he/she would recommend and monitor throughout the day. Also bring extra oil.

It's my first DE, so novice group. It's not that I'll be pushing it to 9/10ths. I'm just trying to cover my bases.

As a novice, I would recommend you just swap in Motul brake fluid. If you ever get hard core, SRF work even better and requires less frequent blled (good for us lazy guys). Other than that, just have fun. And as Mike said, be ready to become a track addict.
