The 94 was the first Porsche to come with 18's and the only production Porsche to come with 3 piece alloys. As Frank said you can't compare the 94 with the 993TT's they are completely different. The 94 is a raw machine as the 993TT is very civilized. I opted for the 94 over a 993TT because IMO the 94 is the epitome of what Porsche was all about by far the best car they produced and although maybe not as capable the most challenging and fun car to drive. Just hold on and enjoy the ride.

BTW I love rare colors but the green is just too much jelly bean for my taste. It takes a special person to drive that car and at that price it is a collector car and not a driver.

What Doug said about the 92 posted for $43 is a good price if the car checks out.

Unless you count the '92 Turbo S (granted, highly rare).

True,

Thats why I said production. The 92 S and 968 turbo S and 964 RS all used 3 piece speedlines but they were not considered production cars built entirely by the werks department.

Go for the 993TT for that kind of money, elsewhere tho. He is not cheap.

From your post you are not after a collectable rare model and parts can cost a small fortune for a special one year run.
Also you are coming from a 993NA (variocam?) so the jump to a stock 3.3 isnt worth it (after a the honey money period) without doing some mods, but then after that you are in the 993TT zone.

Thanks Doug. Can you or anyone else for that matter post the link to that car? I am a PCA member but am having difficulties logging on to the Mart.

I also am having a problem getting into the PCA mart. I sent an e-mail to them. Once I get access, I will take a screen shot of the add for you an either e-mail it or post it here. If you want, you can pm your e-mail and I'll send it to you tomorrow.

use your PCA sign in name and then password of PCA and the last 4 digits of your membership number.

Example
John Doe
PCA 1234

I had problems too. The instructions say to use your last 4 digits of your membership with your sign in name, but that does not work. If the above still does not work, just click on the button to have PCA reset your name and password. It's done almost immediately.

Bill, glad to see your avatar doesn't have your baby in 2 feet of snow.

Good luck!

I agree Don, it has been tucked away inside at the shop the whole time. Well after I got it flat bedded there due to snow!

I opened a normal photo with Microsoft Photo, and then just changed the pixel size to 247 x 185. A guy on Pelican taught me how to do it.
