Thank you very much.

You cannot purchase the original bolts from Speedline. Given your description I would suggest replacing all of the bolts in each wheel. I believe the tightening torque is 22 ft.lbs. You also might need to pull them apart and check the gaskets, they should probably be replaced as well. If you have not done the gaskets before you might want to have a professional do them for you otherwise you may wind up with a leak and a forever flattening tire that cannot be fixed unless you do the gasket again.

Here is a source for premium bolts.

For super bling maybe some gold plated rim bolts on the black rims on your TT .... probably good for a few extra visual HP

I remember seeing gold parts on cars in Puerto Banus on the Costa Del Sol when I was a kid. The 80's I guess.

I got samples of these bolts sent to me. The problem is that the style most like the speedline bolt is not made long enough i.e. 40mm. You have to use the top bolt on their website (i.e. the 40mm one), which looks poor IMO. I did speak to the owner and ask how many bolts i'd have to order for him to make the bolt i wanted but in 40mm rather than 30mm, and it was something like 500k units...

Sorry to here the wheels are a problem.

I spoke to the owner and he was willing to sell me the wheels for less on the side but every time I spoke to him there were more and more issues. His ad was a bit misleading. I believe one wheel is original factory condition while the other 3 had been taken apart and refinished You could see in the pictures that the air valve was not positioned as it normally should be and I was concerned that they were not sealed properly. I would plan on buying new bolts and seals for those 3 wheels and have them reworked before you mount the tires.

Careful, I was offered a "Second Chance" three times on those wheels when I was outbid. Scam artists love that trick.

His ad did say money back if not satisfied. You may just ask for a reduction in price. Figure out what it will cost you to bring them up to speed and knock that off the price. Otherwise I would bring it to Ebay's attention if he is uncooperative. I have gone through issues like this before. Although it took a while I ended up with a refund in each case.

I don't think he will give you a hard time he appeared to be reasonable on the phone.

Overall the wheels looked good I just get nervous trusting my car to a 3 piece wheel that has broken bolts or resealed by someone I do not know.

I noticed the post as I am embarking on refinishing a set of OZ racing TT 3 piece wheels.
ebay item 4625130286 bolts for sale for split rims if you can not find the listing try calling Peter on 01253347984 or his website is www.pwsukdirect.com or pwsuk@globalnet.co.uk for email

goodluck I am having trouble finding the tools needed to loosen the bolts and nuts, but it looks like I may have found a source in Germany info@titanium-touch.com anyway it should be fun. Jim
