Yes the turbo wheel will fit, but you need to get a hub adapter, and yes it is a very easy job. FVD has the adapters in stock in black leather.

Now I am confused, Christian on the 964 forum says that you have to replace all the stalk fittings and so on...

Craig, I like your answer better. Where can I get the adapter? I presume the independents are cheaper than Porsche.... do you have a link/email for FVD?

Christian may have been installing a new turn signal stalk. Once you get into job you will see it is very easy. You do not need to tear the column down that far to get the steering wheel off and put on the adapter.
