Misfire Under Load

Misfire Under Load
I have a 1992 964 turbo w/ 45k miles. Under heavy loads, I experienced significant misfiring w/ engine running rich. I have changed fuel injectors and thinking of installing new sparkwires. Question: Any suggestions for the cause of the misfiring and what sprakwires should I install?

Can be one of a few things: The first place to look is bad or old gas. Next is the cap and wires.
O2 sensor could also be bad which might make the car run rich and foul the plugs.
I believe that there is also a sealed ignition/electrical box that should be checked.
I would start with the gas...
Good luck

I dont believe its the gas. I have changed out the injectors and will proceed with change out the plugs and plug wires. Regarding plug wires, any recommendation for a manufacturer?
Please keep the comments coming - I will investigate all options.

Keep all the ignition components stock for a stock to mild engine.
I would just seriously check conenctions from the EZ to the coil then each of the plugs including the cap. If its less than perfect inside the cap then replace it.... cheap as well

I had similar issue a few years back and it was the end of one plug wire. The connectors are slip on and one of mine was loose. Found this after a week of dismantling the CIS etc. I put factory issue wires back on.
