my friend has this car and it has low km less than 3000km i know its rare but whats the story behind it? how many did porsche produce?


does anyone on the forum own one or been in one??

I've seen what i like to think was a real one, although you can buy the arch intakes etc so it could have been one with aftermarket mods. I've not been in one though sadly.



i think they produced 80 in 1992 after one was displayed at the geneva motorshow in march of that year. Its 3.3 turbo lump generated 381hp. it weighed 1290kgs. It was pretty much an RS style turbo - very hard suspension, semi stripped interior, no weighty luxuries. It had very aggressive cams and a bigger turbo with a new ecu map. This meant that the kick as the turbo came in was quite something.

In 1993 Porsche made a one-off 964 Turbo S "LM" racecar. It generated between 475 and 490hp and used a 962 engine.

 

It would be greatly appreciated if you could take some video of the car and host it on the net for us to all have a look at. these cars are so rare its almost the stuff of myth and legend!

 

Is it a ROW 92 S or a 94 S? Both are rare the 92 even more rare. The 94's can be seen on this site. Mark frequents this board and he runs the site. Very nice cars in all.

First of all its PAR what do you expect? Second they are 2 of 19 package cars ever produced. I have yet to see another Package car for sale yet it seems there is always one Flachbau for sale.
