Guys I am on the same path

Here is what was removed
Sport seats replaces by race backets
Isolation material removed, RS carpets (partly)
AC and all the plumbing + compressor support
Radio
Airbags
Air pump and plumbing
Muffler

I now have a full roll cage and a 6 point harness + bigger front brakes.

Last check the car came out at 1409KG with me (70KG) and just under halt a tank. Empty I am at 1300KGs

Still to do
Rear spoiler
Doors
LWFW
Windows (RS or Lexan)

But unless the PCSRacing rules change I can only remove another 50KGs before my weight / HP ratio goes down to much. I will keep focusing on taking out weight on the rear wheels.

FYI...I switched to the 3.8 wing and lost 15 lbs over the stock lid.

I am on target to end up in the 930kg range with my racecar. This includes a 6spd, centerlocks, RSR brakes, and all of the safety items.

James, if you need the part numbers for the secondary oil cooler and lines, let me know, I have them.

There are two different 3.8 wing configurations, one with the RSR cooling vents and one with a larger number of vents for turbo applications. Not all venders sell both.

Good info Any idea which make sell the turbo "version" ? My shop usualy uses cargraphics so that's what they will propose by default !

Vince, I'm running the 3.8 RSR (w/ the extra vents). An item to keep in mind is that these aftermarket wings (mashaw in my case) have plenty of vents to get air through, but what they don't have is the factory ducting to channel the air through the intercooler. So to answer your question, I wouldn't expect it to cool as well since I'm not ducting the air through as effectively as the factory tail. For what I'm doing w/ my car this has been acceptable. Getting the duct work off my old tail and seeing if it works w/ the new lid would be the right thing to do though...
