Sameer,

Thanks for the videos. On the first one. What was the chase car? A 944 or 928?

Thanks,

Sonny

In the 1st video, the video is taken from a Corvette Z06. The passenger took it. After which the Corvette is over taken by our lovely turbo.

I was embarrassed for the 930, as the Vette crushes him in the turns.

I got the impression the 930 was taking it easy. Impressive to see that thing pull away towards the end. Probably guessed it was being followed by the vette.

The 930 kills the Vette from the start, I can live with that.

The last few seconds tells me that the 930 is playing cat and mouse with the Vette i.e. let him catch up, then blow him away in the straights when it's safe to put down that much power.

Having had a 2002 Z06 which I tracked regularly I can tell you that it wiil easily out run my 1991 turbo which dyno's at 380 rwhp around the track. The video shows a 600 HP track prepared car passing a Z06 but not leaving it in the dust. You have to consider driver ability and car set up. I love both cars for different reasons and still have my turbo but anew Z06 may be in the stable in another year. Still a great video. Thanks

dsanto,
Your 2002 Z06 and 1991 turbo are 11 years apart. I think a 996tt would be a good match wouldnt you.

Sameer,
I agree a much better match. A good friend of mine has a 996tt and we have had some good times chasing each other around the track. The 996tt is more refined and much smoother. What a great time for gearheads and more fun cars coming all the time.
