I had a guy offer me $57K yesterday for my Pcar. Considering the car has 52k miles on it (3.5k on the new motor) I thought it was a little low. I know I will not get what I put into it but it did prompt my interest.
Don't get me wrong I love this car but, I always wanted to build my dream car. That would be a 93 RS America with a PROTOMOTIVE Stage II turbo (580 hp). I can pickup a red RSA for $35k w/38k miles pay $20k for the Stage II and breakeven. The RSA is a perfect platform for the Stage II. Its Lightweight, narrow body and conservative looks would be a true wolf in sheeps clothing.
Will I be kicking myself in the **** if I sold? What do ya think?

Have to garee with 911 2. The looks of the 964turbo, nothing comes close. Save up some cash and do it to your current turbo. Than you get the best of both worlds. JMHO.

Trader220,
My thoughts: RSA's are pretty easy to come by out here. There are 4 in So. CA for sale last month. Ranging from $48k to $32k. The one I am considering spent a lot of time on the track, but it has everything (cage etc).
Why not a C2? I would rather pay the extra $10k for an RSA and get all the factory goods instead of paying $10 less and putting $12-$15k into a C2 and get back to were I could've started (RSA).
To all,
The more I drive the 964t the more I love it. We took it to the canyons today and had a blast. Parked it at the top of the mountain overlooking Orange County and i could not keep my eyes off of it. I guess the grass is always greener.
I'm keep'n it!

I'd suspect you might ditch the 030 suspension when you upgraded the motor that significantly, anyway.

Not all RSA's are the same. The one that is for sale has (it is a track car POC not PCA):
Early model: seam welded body, Limited slip, lightweight rear glass (added), roll cage(added), recaro rs seats(added), undercoating delete, aluminum hood(added) (factory from europe rs), no ac, rollup side windows (added)(came stock with electric), big reds (added), no sunroof plus the other "obvious" RSA basics: no power steering, this car has Motons (added)(owner still has the 030 suspension), larger front stabilizer bar.
It would take north of $12-15k to get a stock c2 to these specs. No?
