Boost guage always stuck at 0.7

Default Boost guage always stuck at 0.7

Guys
My blimmin stock boost guage is permantely on at 0.7 bar- at idle, at boost... any ideas at all?

Check the connection on the intercooler. Mine would do the same thing except it would show .2bar at idle and on boost.

Agree, disconnect check and connect again, could be the sensor.

ok cheers, my mechanic did suggest that and fiddled with it- ill check again and swap it over with my other one... then see what happens

The same has just happened to my car, boost stuck on 0.7.
Miles965uk did you sort it out, and how?

I have yet sorted it out yet- it might be a few days till I get round to it. Try the boost sender- that might be the prob and the problem also is its expensive silly little part from porsche last time i heard. i will keep you in the loop but please let me know if you solve it too!

It was the connection to the intercooler, it was just not fully plugged in. Now it works fine.

Hope you you have the same problem, and not something more extensive/complicated.
