I don't think it's a bad price, but I also wouldn't qualify it as a steal either.

Personally, I like modified cars, but if you are only interested in stock, this is not bad. Full leather, 12 way seats (they weigh a ton), supple leather, good documentation and service history. $36K is too high, but something in the low 30s might be good.

I am surprised how many people consider the price as the most important part of the car buying process.This particular car has 76,000 miles and god knows how much maintanence ( $$$) it would need,brakes,tires,clutch,valve adjustment,plugs and stuff like that isn't cheap you know.To me a car has to look & smell kinda new to enjoy it or else what fun is it to buy a car that feels and looks old.
Like jeffery mentioned it has to be in low 30's for it to be consider a deal,just my 02 cents

Well since others have put in there .02 cents, I will as well. In my personal opinion, Porsche as well as other special makes are a want and not a need. Research the market. average out the car using a use car buyers book or an online site, i.e. n.a.d.a, kelly blue book as well as others .Then the next best thing to do is to physically see the car in metal to determined if it is worth the money. If everything is to your liking, then the price seems a good place to start negotiations.
Remember half the story are photos, used car buyers book, etc... the proof lies in the pudding when you actually see the car ( your emotions and ( common ) sense/s will be the other half )

One thing for certain...it's a buyers market. Buy with your head, not emotion.

Well, maybe...when I bought my car there was a $20K difference between the two. Now $20K buys a lot of upgrades, enough in fact to make a '91-'92 faster and better handling than a stock 3.6T

If you are keeping the car stock, then yeah...I agree.

This is funny, I got scolded on the pelican site for pointing out the BS on a lot of cars for sale, and I am always a cynic. I used to do question and answers for the options board on yahoo till I got sick of so many millionaires telling me about the fortunes they make. I am surprised I missed this one. I got an official warning on the other board for being to hard on what I thought was outright BS about cars for sale. I must be slipping!
