Default Turbo 3.6 For Sale in UK with Mods

Go to the stock list and then it's the first car under Porsche.

I have recently seen this car for sale (although not in the flesh) and know both the dealer as i got my 3.6T from him and i also know Classic Car Workshop who are both honest and extremely trustworthy.

The question is - Are the mods listed ones which people would go for and do they compliment each other? Also are these mods very expensive as well as the car including UK VAT @17.5% is £38,770.00 (Approx. 54,250 Euros or 70,000 USD).

schnele, not sure that helps, what with us being in the UK!...its the same with everything over here - remove £ and insert $ is kind of how it seems to work unfortunately.

nice looking car, not sure about the interior colour though!

Schnele,

Personally i'd alway take a 965 3.6T over a 993tt - it just the classic shape with those front wings.

Burnham,

A wild colour i agree - but such low mileage and i know that Classic Car Workshop would only deal with cars they are 100% happy with.

I don't know if i would consider 30k very low mileage. The color is unique.

Anthony,

When i was looking for my car i looked at the details of quite a few 3.6T's in both France and Germany with a view to importing into the UK. Some of these cars has 60 - 80k miles on them. I thought 30k wasn't too bad as it would at least keep the miles off mine (still below 20k).

Now yours I consider low mileage. Nice color also.

$70k US here would be closer to the asking price of a car like yours.

I think there may be some movement in price of around 10% as i have a fair idea how much it was imported for - but it's THAT interior.

Does anyone know of another car with it. I'm guessing it may be unique as a special order. My 1993 colour chart has the exterior as amaranth violet but there are no violet interior whatsoever.

I believe Porshah purchased this same color combo. When I spoke to him a couple of weeks ago he was picking up his car. http://www.cannillomotorsports.com/p.../911turbo.html

He said he was going to post some pics but I don't know what happened. He may have the answer your looking for. He did say the combo looked excelent in person. Many times you need to see these cars in person to get a good feel as the colors don't show well over the internet.

Hi Anthony,

Sorry I have not had a chance to post pics of my car yet. My color is Amethyst Metallic. Almost like wine red. This car looks very purple. The interior looks very similar to mine, but hard to tell in the photo. I have received more comments and compliments on this car than any of my previous P-cars. I will get around to posting pics, I promise.

Very Nice, Congrats on the new toy. I would like to see it in person one day. Are you going to the Concours on April 30th?

Yes. I am planning on going, just as a spectator. Not ready for Concours yet.
