Default Brake rotors

No affiliation but there are 91-92 rotors front and rear on ebay new in box starting price $250 per set.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWA%3AIT

I was also curious how much are the 94 rotors selling for I found them for $179 ea is this a good price? I don't need them for my tubo but I found out they are the same part for the GTS.

Anthony,

That is good price, wonder how high it will go. These are about $212 each from places like Vertex. I am looking for a hold set 2 front and 2 rears, but i don't like to buy from ebay. I will probably go with Sunset Porsche at cost + 15% when I am ready.

The 3.6 turbo rotors at $179 each is about normal price. They will fit 91-92' cars but because the calipers, front, on 91-92' are a little smaller you will have a small area that is not sweep by the pads on the side near the hub I believe.

Regards,

Sonny

Thanks,

Buying parts on Ebay can be risky. Although I have found 99-100 buys to be a favorable experience and a bargain. The one bad experience iA had was resolved and my money refunded in full. The seller seams to have a good record and if the price is right you may be able to get a really good deal.

I am looking sources for front calpiers. I track my car and the cross drilled rotors crack long before they wear.

Cobalt - Ist what is your souce for $179 & is that price delivered? The best I can find is $187 delivered and with tax.

Sonny- Do you mean the 3.3 turbo rotors fit the 3.6 ? I measured by 3.6 rotors which are 320mmx32mm. Do you know what the 3.3 rotors measure?

Both Sonny and Cobalt - What 928 rotors fit? Do you have a part #. Thanks
Earl

Earl,

It is the other way around. 3.6turbo's rotors (front) will fit 3.3 C2turbo (front). They are both the same size. I will have to confirm tomorrow when I look it up tonight. 3.6Turbo's front calipers are larger than 3.3 C2turbo's front calipers.

I believe FVD has the best price for the 94 turbo rotors. The 928 GTS rotors are the same as the 3.6 turbos minus the cast holes. The part numbers are 92835104501 and 92835104601 The cast hole rotors start with 965 instead of 928.

If you are interested in the solid rotors i have a set I am selling. PM me if you are interested.

Call Dan Jacobs. He did some custom solid rotors on the front for me, and they are holding up great so far (4 track days). I'll be putting another 3 DE days and 5 races days (including one 90 min enduro at Watkins Glen) on them in the very near future.

Just decided to go ahead and buy the rotors off the ebay auction and to be quite honest at $140/each shipped for OEM rotors not too bad
