I try to steer clear of digging into sales of '94 3.6's. Love the car, just not interested in the pricing matrix that those cars bring, .... plus I've never been in that league,... so I stick to the underdogs.
this was the stock ride high for this cars. picked up a nos suspension (35miles driven till removed) and mounted it to my car. looked similar.
over the years almost all were lowered to 3.6 specs or rs high.
the prices for this cars are crazy. nice cars with frugly interior. magenta skyliner ....
Mine has what was noted as “ belt line leather”, meaning leather below steering column. So seats, arm rests, lower dash, glovebox rear seat arm rests.
Is there an option code for this? Mine has full leather and supple leather seating, leather console and door pulls/arm rests but no lower dash.

Actually all US spec 3.6T's had 4x4 ride height only the RoW turbo 3.6's were lowered by 10mm. Lowering the car was the first thing I did.
I looked at this car back in 2002. It had bad damage to the passenger door which is apparent in pic 66 and the wheels have been refinished improperly. Also the center caps are wrong and the calipers have black stenciling vs white painted Porsche lettering.
There is also something fishy going on with the last few service mileage recordings less than 1 mile driven in many months and did they trailer the car after the prior service?
the pic you referenced may now be # 65 (vs 66). They may have added / inserted a new one prior to cause renumbering.
Also, are those aftermarkets seat adjuster plates? (pics 56 & 63). I've never seen a aluminum plate surround like that before. Seems weird that someone would replace the plastic surround with aluminum,... for what reason,... just to spruce up the side of the seat?? ... that might seem appropriate if you also did a whole bunch more aluminum upgrades throughout the interior. but that seems out of place.
Oh & yea, those center caps that were poorly drilled out with a dull bit, are terrible. That just looks like a hack.
Also, not sure why I cannot see the Windshield Pilkington Sigla etchings in the lower driver side (pic 21). It may also be a non Porsche windshield replacement.
BUT,... even with prior accident history,... or even with some minor incidental things that a new owner could restore &/or improve upon, could make for an excellent 3.6 at the right price. I love a car that I know I can immediately do some things to improve it and put my own stamp of ownership on. So who knows,... if the market is not bonkers (like with all the other P cars out there these days),... this one could sell at a reasonable price & make someone happy!!
Hey, one more thing: Pic 75 - Dash A/C controls. Did Porsche change the look of the ***** in 1994 (verses my '91 3.3)??
On this '94 3.6, the face of each **** is indented, verses flush.
Take a look at that pic # 75, and then compare to my '91 ***** below....
EDIT: WheelsBoutique is on Rennlist here, and just posted about their Pcar market auction over in the NA 964 subforum,.. so maybe they can chime in here. I would not pollute the auction itself with analysis like we have here,... but this is a good as place as any to get some commentary.
Steve this is a late 94 build like the BB car so the CCU is probably the later 993 unit used in some of these. The plates were a thing a while back but haven't seen a set in along time. That is odd about the pics as it was # 66 when I looked so one must have been omitted. I did just notice as looking through the pictures again that the vin sticker on the drivers door is missing. Only way to tell if the door is original is to pull the door cards and check the serial numbering matches the rest of the panels. The pictures of the door jams are dark but you can see the tape lines over the stickers which indicates they were painted and I suspect the entire car.
Last I heard of a clean car selling a month or so back it was over $400k. Market is all over the place and clean cars are hard to find. I will say that I have had my car out at several events recently and have been approached by several people. They wanted my car and when I said not for sale they said name my price and they will pay it. So who knows?
Interesting car, I just watched the video of the drive towards the end, the oil pressure seems low, at idle it's below 1 bar, at 1000 rpm's Yikes. That can't be normal. Mine drops to 1.9 - 2 bar at idle when really really hot in stop and go traffic with the AC on and the rpm's at 750-800 because the AC is on of course. At normal driving temperature with the AC off my oil pressure sits closer to 2.5 - 3 bar with AC on the pressure drops a little and goes to 4.5 to 5 bar fairly easy as the rpm's go up, Hot or at normal temps. What's normal ?

One of thew few accurate bits of info in Adrian's book were ride heights and how they changed over the years.
All U.S. spec cars were super high to meet bumper standards.
My old Turbo X88 up for sale again. Looks like its been standing all the years since i had it.
Collector market has a lot answer for leaving these cars without use and it appears not have been serviced in many years.
