Saw this beauty at a Porsche event in downtown Chicago. Pictures don't do it justice, in person looks even more awesome!

Just dropped my 964 at Olsen for some upgrades!

I've been stuck on widebody...in fact, I've purchased MANY parts to do the conversion....but man, I keep seeing these sexy NB cars and I don't know which I like best!

It would be hard to chose.
I love pictures of wide body 964s, but it has a bit of a clumsy and puffed-up look to it from certain angles in real life. The rear fenders always take a beating too. All that said, the WB fenders integrate the 964 bumper caps perfectly.
On the other hand, a narrow body looks tight and purposeful, nothing extra. Looks great with nice wheels and good stance, and doesn't scream for attention. Simple and clean works on a 964, but maybe too tame of a look?
Hard choice...

Hi Eddie, sorry if this was mentioned earlier in the thread. Which connecting rods did you use for your rebuild? I’m in the process of a top end rebuild myself and have been contemplating going with a 3.8 as well. Depending on condition of P/C’s and budget lol. Thanks in advance for your reply!

All true! I might have purchased too much to turn back, at this point WB for now!

I’d love to see the list of parts you’ve gotten so I know what to expect / start looking for. Even though I have a wide body SC, a wide body 964 has always been the dream and I don’t know how much longer I can fool myself into keeping my 964 narrow.

Get ready to spend if you want to do it right. I bought new turbo fenders and all Porsche wheel well liners and brackets the other day. You could buy 930 flares but by the time you get them welded and finished + sell your nb flares, you’re about the same price. This will be a hotrod but I’m trying to use a lot of oem where ever I can - I like the OEM plus look and then a little extra on top - keep it tasteful and don’t cut corners.

I don't want to pollute this thread too much more - I'll be starting my own shortly but here's a quick list from the other day for the front. There are some other parts that I already purchased, as well.
