Default Driver's window or window frame rattle

Hey guys, my 92 C2 coupe driver's door window or window frame rattles when I go over bumps. I lowered the window and it still rattles. It's hard to tell where it's coming from exactly when driving. The weather was colder today, which may be related. Anyone?
Thanks,
Vaughan

Until you remove the door panel and have a look it's not so easy to tell. Obvious questions - can you feel by hand any wobble or movement in either the door window frame itself or the glass? Could be a loose frame fixing bolt/screw or a glass scissor riser loose fixing.

I had a rattle like that that almost drove me crazy. Finally found the 2 screws pinching the rubber welt between the fender and cowl were loose, large rectangular shape washers were rattling around. Tightened them and all was well.

My car has an incredibly obnoxious rattle in the driver door. While I haven't yet fixed it, I have conclusively identified the source as a piece of shrouding that the door-open cable goes thru. If this is your issue, the rattle will be immediately silenced by a very gentle pressure on the door-open lever.

I found it! It was actually the left side of the sunroof while in partially open position. That's an easy fix. The rattle sound reflected off the driver's side window. These things are hard to tell when driving sometimes but after some time on the road I learned the sunroof was the culprit. Thanks guys for answering. 964 is the best.

I’ve found that loud exhausts and removal of sound deading fixes this issue :-)
