sparkplugs question

Hello,
does the 911 use special plugs that one cannot buy from the local auto store? That it's a special order from a Porsche shop? tell me it ain't true!

No. Plugs have three electrodes and are about £4-sh each I think. You need 12. You can get them from many sources.

John is right, but for my self I would reccomend original sprak plug made by Beru.

It's just a feeling question. Bosch is also o.k. others should be o.k. to, but you know me........

Bosch and Beru made the original plugs. I use the Bosch ones with a 40,000 km life. These are the ones used as standard in the 964 Turbo 3.6.

hot diggity! three replies and non from north america! i guess my next question is how readily available are these plugs? or should it be ordered from specialty porsche stores?
