I thought I would start another thread about heating systems since winter is rolling on. My RHD 1990 964 has 2 issues, they are:
- Firstly, When adjusting the fan control speed (the right-hand **** with settings from 0 to 4) the fan reaction is sometimes delayed. Even worse, it sometimes doesn't react at all - i.e. it stays on low speed setting when I increase or stay on high speed setting when I decrease.
- Secondly, regarding the long airvent slot right next to the windscreen, the air flow is stronger on the right hand side (drivers side for me) but slower/weak on the left hand side. This sometimes allows the left side of the windscreen to mist up (the passenger door windows mists as well so is the side dashbaord airvent connected to the same vent)
Does anyone else have these problems? Any ideas what is causing these? (i assume they are two separate problems).
