Unhappy Deeply shoked today..................

I am deeply shocked today..........

I bought a set of original speednuts and bolts for the catalytic converter heat shields and for the undertray.

I paid for 10 speednuts and 20 bolts [Stainless steel] 85 US$.................

Next time I ask what things cost.

Thanks Porsche for this good quality stuff and may be one day these items will have as much value as a Picasso................

I am shocked!

Arjan,
Be there done that!!
Luckily I asked the price before buying as I was going to replace all.
Just replace the ones with 'spinning nuts' and saved enough for a Picasso!!!

Richard.

P.S. Enjoying your service write up.

I check the price of everything Porsche before I buy it these days.

The only good thing is that occasionally (very very occasionally) you will need something that you think will be expensive and it's quite reasonable.

Although, come to think of it - I can't remember when that has happened, so maybe it's just something I dream about.

The cheapest thing I have ever had the pleasure to buy for my Porsche is the headlight glass which was about £10. I nearly bought two!!!! I'm now considering a new petrol cap at £12. See, its not ALL doom and gloom keeping these cars on the road!

I asked the price of a sports airbox the other day. Its gone up from GBP 65 to 120. Must be the increase in price for taking it via the channel.

Some of the things are not that expensive.

My BIG SERVICE PACKAGE costs about 800 US $, including 2 sets of brake pads. That's not so bad, but thost bolts and speed nuts........

Is $800 for the dishwasher my wife wanted (matches her other appliances) a lot? I fell over... After getting back up I had to install the damn thing...
