Crazy or there's a mint green coupe in there

Thanks for the input I on the other hand am not a fan of Chemical stripping. My car was badly painted blue with no primer over the mint green in about 1998. Windows in bad taping etc. I am a fan of the factory anti corrosion and I really only need to remove as much blue as possible and respray the mint green leaving as much factory paint intact as possible
But that is why we are all CHEERING for you to continue taking your time. Well,... there's ONE guy in particular who is cheering the loudest along side you in that garage, that's for sure.
You must have been one HELLOVA Dad John,... the patience of a Saint!! Keep on it!
Someday soon, you are going to bring that delicious Mintiness to a car show, & I am going to DRIVE to come see it in person.

Sunroof
Well I finally got brave and tackled the sunroof was actually quite easy an I am happy I did found a small amount of surface rust under the piece that goes across the front of the opening so I sanded wire wheeled it and put etching primer on it. All I have left is the drivers side door jam and the jam on the door it's self.

I still have to weld up a rust spot on left front fender disassemble left door and sand the jams for it. Also I have a small dent in right rear fender and left front fender to fix. Hopefully in a couple of weeks I will haul it to where the painting will be done 😁👍.

John,
I'm excited to see this car with a fresh coat of mint paint. You will have yourself a very special car for a number of reasons. The car will pay you back tenfold in smiles for the patience you have had with her. I applaud your tenacity!

Primer
I went and bought primer today so I should be getting it into primer soon. I think I will start with the small parts and then work up to the main body. It had been awhile since I have done any painting stand by for updates

I am pulling for you bud!
I told my wife about your story yesterday and what you are doing to the car and she said.. hmmm, rennlist is a nice place isn't it! I waited 7 years gathering parts to upgrade my964. So don't get discouraged. I'll post shortly. Keep up the good work!

To hot
I thought I'd be painting by now but unfortunately it decided to go all global warming on us here. It has been near a hundred almost every day since I got primer which makes it to dam hot for me to paint. It looks like that the heat will stay around for at least another week or more. 😫😫😫😫

Dude!!! You need to get on it!!! We are used to TV shows where they complete total frame up restorations in 30 minutes. Well 22 when you factor in the commercials. :-)
