Default C2 Sway / Anti-Roll Bar Sizes

Could someone confirm the sizes of the standard anti-roll bars on a manual 1990 C2? - Did the size change in later C2's.

I am looking at a winter suspension upgrade and will more than likely go with KW V1/V3 with this should I be looking to replace the ARB's and Drop Links?

Stock C2 rear sway bar is 21mm for 1990 only, later years got a different size. I figure you might as well change the hardware once you are there!

Many thanks for the info

It looks like I have 20mm Front 21mm Rear.

I would however like to mimic the RSA/M030 set up of 22mm Front 20mm Rear

Does anyone know the part numbers of these items or have any they no longer need?

NP, I believe the C4 bars are thicker and are considered an upgrade too but I'd have to look that up to be sure.

According to the Porsche 964 Technical Specifications book:
Front: C2/C4 - 20mm, M030 - 22mm, RSA - 22mm, RS - 24mm (5 pos. adj.)
Rear: C2/C4 - 20mm (Tip. - 19mm), M030 - 20mm, RSA - 20mm , RS - 18mm (3 pos. adj.)

Fwiw I put the RS bars front/rear and am really happy with them for dual street/track use.

I had m030 on the car, pretty big difference, well the entire suspension was changed too so hard to pin just the roll bars.

Thanks for the info, RS bars are probably over kill for my needs.

I would be interested to here what rear drop links you used?

Did Porsche fit different rear links to the RS than the C2?

Is there any benefit in adjustable links, Rennline, Tarrett and the like?

I've tarett. Main benefit is you can unload the sway bars to allow for corner balance.

Spyrex......

My car is at Turbo kraft right now getting the suspension done amongst other stuff.

Similar to what you went with...

H&R sways front and back
Tarret front and rear drop links.
KWv3
ERP 935 style Spring plates
rennline monoball camber plates front and rear.
Elephant racing control arm bushing front and back
