The two toggle switches on the left side of the steering wheel are a kill switch and the kill switch for the Shift I.
The toggle switches on the right side of the wheel are the horn and the three switches on the on the console.
No CCU for the time being. I will put n an electronic fan controller in there somehow. Ultimately I would like to have the CCU controls with toggle switches but I am not sure how to make that work. I've seen in an another thread a rennlister jad a solution for it. For now this is what I am thinking,,,

I wanted to have a start button in there but didn't want the car to be easily stolen. With basic start button either you put the key in place, turn it, hit the start button or no key start button. If you put the key in place, turn it, and hit the start button that is totally useless and one extra thing to do which defeats the purpose. Or if you replace the key with the start button the car could easily be stolen. Someone opens the door hits the start button and the car will start. I didn't like neither of those two options. What I have now is no key. I have a remote that opens the door. I open the door get in the car,the car senses the remote being there, I hit the start button and she starts. If the remote is not present she won't start. Kind of like all the new cars. Lots wiring, not an easy job. If you are planning to do something like it contact me. I'll have you talk to the guy who installed it. He does not work for a shop. He works for me and he is a electronics viz. he'd be more than happy to explain the process and help. The system was about $400 of i remember correctly. At the end $400 to fix something that was already working with no issues and lots of pain installing it. Would I do it again?? Maybe

Incredible car!!!
One of the things on my list of things to get to eventually is re-doing the interior. Stupid question, but did you lose that quintessential air cooled smell in the cabin after redoing your interior? I just love that smell and would be kind of sad if it went away.

Looks great Madturk. LOL at the smell thing, I was fearing the same as I am about to redo my interior. My daughter and I love it, every time we get in we take a big breath in and smile.
