Interior is finally done. Few minor exterior upgrades as well. Next year, hopefully, wide body and 3.8 conversion:)
I am very happy with the way the interior turned out. I had the red recaro seats sitting in the garage already. I will eventually get it reupholstered to in Black alcanta with blue stitching to match the rest of the car.

I want to thank everyone for their input an inspiration from all the threads.

Drove it from Williston, ND to Regina Canada today> 184 miles in 94 miutes:) Crossing the border took just about 5 minutes. Hit 175mph multiple times for multiple minutes but couldn't get a clear pic since all I had was my Iphone. Maybe next time.
Anyways, the car performed beautifully.
Roads were clear almost no other cars on the road. Past few trucks and that was all.
There are few advantages being in this part of the country.

That is badass! Looks fast standing still. Great job

Beautiful! I love the exterior and interior colors and upgrades. All go with a little show.

Thank you for the compliments..
I still have to do few things.. Have to hide the wires under the dash, need new LED bulbs for the gauges, and need to fix the broker oil pressure needle.

I am very please with the smart start button. No more key and can't be stolen easily. You have to have the key in the car to be able to start the car.

Nice! Who did your gauges?

biggynuts01 04-25-2016 08:08 AM

Very sweet. What shift light is that on the steering shroud?

eddieb4 04-25-2016 08:57 AM

How did you do the smart start button?

Porschedials.com
It took forever. Paid for it, 3 months later got refunded thru PayPal for not answering emails and not shipping the gauges faces. He later contacted me apologizing like he did to bunch of rennlister. Finally shipped it at the end. It took almost 5 months but he has done a great job.
I'm very pleased with the gauges.
During the install my guy broke the oil pressure gauge needle:(

That's shift I. It works great but for street use its a bit annoying. I have a toggle switch that it is connected to and turn it off most times.

I wanted to have a start button in there but didn't want the car to be easily stolen.
With basic start button either you put the key in place, turn it, hit the start button or no key start button.
If you put the key in place, turn it, and hit the start button that is totally useless and one extra thing to do which defeats the purpose.
Or if you replace the key with the start button the car could easily be stolen. Someone opens the door hits the start button and the car will start.
I didn't like neither of those two options.
What I have now is no key. I have a remote that opens the door. I open the door get in the car,the car senses the remote being there, I hit the start button and she starts. If the remote is not present she won't start. Kind of like all the new cars.
Lots wiring, not an easy job. If you are planning to do something like it contact me. I'll have you talk to the guy who installed it. He does not work for a shop. He works for me and he is a electronics viz. he'd be more than happy to explain the process and help.
The system was about $400 of i remember correctly. At the end $400 to fix something that was already working with no issues and lots of pain installing it.
Would I do it again?? Maybe:)

I will say one thing about the rennline goodies. The fit and finish is near perfect. I highly recommend it to anyone who is thinking about it.
