Default 16yrs with my 964, is it time to move on?

Hey guys, i've listed my 964 for sale..... I've owned it for 16 yrs and with a heavy heart thinking of moving on...

I've had great memories and a complete blast driving her.

How long have you owned your 964? and any suggestions on what next to get?

Why sell if you don't know what you want?

GT3 :-)

I've never owned a car that long so can't really sympathize with the situation... but I will tell you this - the GT3 is every bit as engaging - and then some. It just doesn't smell funny inside. (this is my wife's words)

I can't see trading a 964 for: 993, 996, 997, etc outside of GT cars.

We both joined Rennlist in 2001. I had my Turbo 3.6 for 13 years and moved it on. I thought I would have pangs of regret but nothing major. I have variously had a 996TT, Cayman R and C4. I kept the C4. My advice, if you can afford to, is don't sell until you have replaced it and are sure of the change. You won't get your car back if you sell.

Wow, you're right i join Rennlist in 2001....

Hey John McM, I can't believe you sold your 93 3.6 Turbo, they're rare and in high demand.

996 GT3 a good car?

996 GT3 is a GREAT car. It is the "rawest" of the GT3 and well driven about the same pace as a 997.1. Many don't appreciate the lights, but I like the skinny hips and the lights, well.... they were on the GT1!
